edpaffjr.comI have a new favorite place in town, not that I really had a favorite place in town before, but anyway it is called Newport On The Levee. Technically it is in Northern Kentucky, but it is right across the river from downtown. That is where I went to see We Were Soldiers with Lutz, Halp and Jon. The girls decided not to go, but it’s not really surprising anyway. :) The movie was good and entertaining, not one of the best war movies, but it is worth seeing. The theater down there is amazing, it only cost 6 dollars for us to get in with student id’s, while out here by my house we pay something over 8. The theater was stadium style seating, and the chairs were great, you could move the arm rests out of the way and just kick back. This blows the theaters on this side of the river out of the water.
The area over there is just incredible. It is right by the aquarium and restaurants are popping up all around. It sits right on the river, and is a perfect candidate for a date spot. Now I just need to find the girl, hehe. Well I just had to talk about this place that I hope to visit soon. Oh yeah the pizza place there is where Sara works so I’ll have to get there sometime soon as well…
