Thursday. Hmm… I can’t really remember what I did. All I know is that I need to update my list of shows that I have seen before I forget them all. That will have to come sometime later.
Friday, the typical crew went up to Columbus for a Virginia Coalition and Llama show. We met up at Joe Vedder’s place to sit around, drink some beers, and just catch up on old times. Anne and a friend decided to go to the show with us, so they met us up at Joe’s and after awhile we all found rides to the place, Little Brothers. Carrie and Mike were up at the show, and it is always a blast to hang out and talk to them. Carrie just loves to hear my stories about my life. :) Her brother Dave was at the show as well, so I finally got to meet him. We were all having a great time, and some of us got really banged up. I know I was one of those people, and Liam even said that I drank more beers than minutes I talked to Anne. I felt bad about that, but I talked to her and she didn’t really seem to mind. I was just the one that invited her to the show, and I guess I should have done a little better there. In the end though, she loved VACO and wants to see them again. We got some pizzas and passed out eventually.
Saturday, not much went on besides some drinking over at Liam’s place. Always a fun time though.
Sunday we woke up early because of the bearcats game against Memphis. We had some beers and then headed over to the game. We had almost a complete row of people and it was a very good time. We were feeling pretty good because most people didn’t eat anything and just pounded a few beers. The game was sweet. All the way down to the wire, and then an overtime victory for the cats. What a game! After that we kind of chilled out for a bit, ate some food, etc. then went over the VACO/Llama show at Top Cat’s later that night. As usual the crowd was small, but what can you expect from cincy. The shows were both really good, and I was more than happy to pay the 8 bucks to get in although Ben Brown of Llama said he would put me on the list. I guess Top Cat’s didn’t have a list or something, but it really didn’t matter to me. I was very impressed as usual by both bands…
Yesterday, another exciting day of work! :) Later on, fighty and I hit up Montgomery Inn for the Bob Huggins radio show. Man is that guy funny, especially when off the air. Then I “helped” fighty with his programming homework and went home.
I guess tonight, Lutz is trying to convince a group of girls to go to the movies with us. I’ll see how well he does. :)
