Another day with some downtime for the website. My apologies for this one, as I cannot blame it on Comcast or any outside source. My hard drive filled up completely on my server. I had absolutely no space remaining. I’ve been looking into buying some more drives or possibly getting a NAS setup. I’m still reading up on this though, so feel free to add suggestions. For now, I need to remember to move some files that don’t need to be on the server off of it and onto my other PC. I hope I can get to that tomorrow.

More drives in the pc is a lot cheaper option for sure… I’ve tried a few of the Linksys NAS boxes at home and they were so slow (for that purpose) I gave up on them. That’s what those NSLU2’s were made for originally before I turned them into webservers. Tried the NAS200 too and it had the same problem, sent that one back.
Yeah, drives are definitely cheaper. I’ll have to see if I can find a good deal soon.
A few of my friends praise the NETGEAR ReadyNAS, so I’ve been reading up on those. Though I’m not sure I’m ready to spend that much, especially when looking at the NV+ that they own.
Several people at work run this Free NAS firmware. Gettin’ a little geeky there though.
