I’m not sure that I completely understand the concept of this website, but according to them, “Twitter is a community of friends and strangers from around the world sending updates about moments in their lives.” It’s like a mini blog, or maybe an instant message to the world. It has many similarities to MySpace, but instead of conversations with one friend, you can have conversations with all of your friends. There’s a firefox woot plugin that will tell you what’s being sold, how much and what percentage of the product is left. it sits in the lower right hand corner of your browser and if you click on the text it will open the web page.
so far though, there’s been nothing good. just stuff that they’ve had for sale in the last few weeks.
regarding twitter, i have no interest in what strangers are doing and no interest in them knowing how i am or what i am doing. but that’s just me.
I installed the firefox plugin yesterday. It works awesome, except it seems to get stuck after running for awhile. It has happened to me twice, at least that I’ve noticed. I still haven’t bought anything though. Almost bought some headphones…
