One of our leagues is going to be scored manually by our friend Sharkey, and since he is currently in West Palm Beach, the results have not been announced.
Let’s talk about my victory first, as it was a pretty big upset. The win came in the league that I was doing the worst in. I finished the regular season in 7th place and defeated the 2nd seeded team by six points. I am now in one of the semifinal games, and will be playing Mr. Mike Pavia.
I lost my game in the other Yahoo! league pretty badly. I came in as the 3rd seed and was whooped up on by the 2nd seed. This week I will be playing in a battle for 3rd place against the 4th seed, that’s not too bad.
I also had a hockey game last night, and we actually won for a change! We are off for a few weeks, some are calling it the All-star Break…
Since you’re off from hockey you should bring the Ohio crew down to Lew’s on New Year’s Day for the Shaking Tree show. I think Steve should be around too.
That’s not a bad idea at all. I’ve been wanting to catch one of these shows. I’ll have to see how many people are still gonna be around on Sunday night, and if we can get everyone there. :)
