Kim’s grandmother always wanted her to go to church, and I guess this is her way of making it up to her. I totally forgot it was the lenten season, so the church was packed of course, but we did get free palms. We are going to attempt to go to a new church every week so we can see what is out there. This week’s target was The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. I guess this church just finished a huge renovation and it looks amazing. Mass itself was rather long, about an hour and a half. Perhaps the fact that they chose to act out an entire reading contributed to this…
wow! glad to hear that :) I went to palm sunday services too…mine was an hour and a half too..we are hoping to do sunrise services on the beach in ft. lauderdale this year before we head out to key west!
