Ed,
I see your “Now That’s What Ed Calls Music” playlists were created on Spotify. Did you create a playlist for 2014 and 2015?
Is this your album from 2014?:

I’ve really enjoyed your “Now” albums over the years, and I’ve found some great bands this way (many that don’t ever get radio airplay).
Speaking of which, have you ever heard of Eric Hutchinson? If not, be sure to give him a listen…
The 2014 spotify playlist that you linked to is my mix. I never got around to making cover art for 2014 so I never put it up on my website, but maybe I will get to that one day.
And I actually never got around to making a 2015 playlist at all. Life got really busy but again perhaps I will find some time to put out a much delayed list.
Truth be told with 2 kids now I find it hard to get out and discover new live music as much as I once did. Most of what I hear now is on satellite radio or from friend recommendations through the years.
I do know of Eric Hutchinson. In fact he appeared on the 2008 playlist: http://www.edpaffjr.com/now/index.php?nowyear=2008
I hear you, I have two kids myself. I didn’t realize Eric was on that 2008 playlist, but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. He has some great songs from his 2013 album, Pure Fiction.
As far as that 2008 album, my favorite song was Stars Align. Thanks for introducing me to Virginia Coalition!
