edpaffjr.comSince moving out of my parents house many years ago, I’ve nearly always had a Jimmy John’s within walking distance of home. Currently that is not true, but that should be changing by the end of the month when the franchise’s 17th Colorado location opens just up the street at 331 East Alameda Avenue. I’ve always been a big fan of their no frill sandwiches, especially after a late night of partying. Unfortunately, I don’t think any of the local shops are open nearly as late as the one on the campus of the University of Cincinnati. But this will definitely be nice when the Einstein Brother’s across the street closes after their lunch shift, though it may be hard to pass up the neighboring Chipotle. I’m sure I’ll make a stop within a week of opening.

I haven’t been there in awhile … I always get the Slim 5 … There is one downtown, so I might have to go there sometime soon!
I order either the Turkey Tom or the Club Lulu. Kim’s favorite is the Beach Club on the wheat bread, which is also really tasty. And don’t forget a pickle!
Fat Jacks are open until 3am Thursday through Saturday. Other nights, they close at midnight. They even deliver with no minimum! Right now, they have two locations: Capitol Hill and DU.
Good call Pulli, I’ve forgotten about Fat Jack’s. We’ve ordered from the DU location a few times in the past. I’ll have to give them another call soon.
Love the club lulu and the beach club! We frequently order from the one right on 43rd, and the one’s here and KC ARE open late, at least on weekends.
Yep, that’s the one we used to order from all of the time. It was a short walk up from our old house on Genessee in KC.
See if they are hiring. I will come work there.
Ha! And you could deliver me sandwiches on your bike whenever I wanted, just like the old days. Sounds great!
