The day has arrived! My iPhone was dropped onto my porch this morning and I’ve been keeping busy with it thus far. I ordered it last Thursday and it was delivered just over a week later, so not too bad. I finally got it activated, though I haven’t made or received any calls yet so I’m not sure if it’s really fully activated or not. So far I’ve been working to setup gmail on it, along with downloading a couple of apps (facebook and pandora so far). I haven’t bought a case or screen protection yet, but that should come sometime this weekend. Alright enough with the blogging, back to the iPhone addiction. Send any suggestions my way.

I know finding good apps is very time consuming, so I figured I would share most of my apps that I got so far with you:
Skype
IM + (a push notification for instant messenger, twitter, msn, yahoo, etc..)
myWireless (AT&T’s app so you can view your usage and bill from your iphone)
DirecTV (not sure if you have them or not)
Shazam (Hit a button, hold it up and it will tell you what song is playing)
ScoreCenter (ESPN app)
RTM (Remember the Milk, Joanna and I sync this over the web so we always have an up to date grocery or to do list)
AroundMe (one of my favorites, it lets you know by your location what is around you, like bars, restaurants, gas stations, hotels, parking, etc..)
Urbanspoon
Yelp
And then some fun games (all free):
Labyrinth 3D
Paper Toss
StoneLoops Lite
Pocket Tanks
HAVE FUN!
Thanks. I now have skype, mywireless, shazam, and scorecenter installed. The latest version of aim has push built in, so I may not need IM +. I still need to decide on a twitter app. And I’ll probably install AroundMe and possibly some games too.
Aim was a little weird especially when chatting. I’M+ helped consolidate the Twitter stuff as well. But glad I could help. Let me know too if you find any sweet free apps. I have only purchased one so far and that was zenbe lists so me and my free lance partner could stay synced up with our to do lists
