There’s a new sub shop in Denver, Lenny’s @ 3299 S Broadway. During my visit last night, I was told that it is a popular chain in the south, but this is their first venture into Colorado and it just opened at the beginning of the week. I ordered a regular size turkey sub, which included a half pound of fresh sliced turkey and my choice of fixings. The large sandwich includes a full pound of meat, so they definitely serve up some large sandwiches.

Overall, I thought the sandwich was decent. Nothing too go crazy over, but not bad at all. It reminded me a lot of Jersey Mike’s or Mr. Goodcents, which I frequented often while living in Kansas City. One thing of note is Lenny’s hot pepper relish, which I thought was great! And another thing worth noting was the incredibly nice and accommodating staff who made sure that I really enjoyed my meal, including a free chocolate chip cookie. I’m told they will be opening four other locations in the area, so I’m sure I’ll be back again.
