Kim and I have officially finished our marriage prep classes as required by the Catholic Church. Fortunately, we were able to take all of the classes on our time using online forms and email. Most of the work was done with Catholic Marriage Prep Online over the past couple of months. Basically, we worked on our own to answer questions in various lesson web forms, and after submitting our answers we would get an answer key and response from our instructors. This process worked pretty well, especially since it would be nearly impossible for us to commit to a single day for a series of weeks as often required by the live classes. Though this particular program is only good for the Denver and Colorado Springs Archdioceses, there may be other similar programs throughout the country or possibly the world.

congratulations! back in the day we did the classes all on one Saturday morning and afternoon!
Heck we didn’t even HAVE marriage school!! (Maybe that’s what happened…)
We did too. Sort of. We had one hour long session with our Minister. Maybe your MEMORY is what happened… :)
Greg and I had an Engaged encounter weekend! And, we had to go see the priest once or twice. Did they have you sign in a big book saying you won’t prevent a pregnancy? We could not get married if we did not sign.
Haha, no big books to sign for us.
that’s a great one Toni! it’s nice to see you checking out Ed’s blog :)
Iam glad to see you following the rules of the church:). Congratulations!!
Any updates to the marriage planning? Honeymoon, reception, etc.
Funny you should ask, I just posted about the first stop of our honeymoon today. I’m having so much fun planning it and can’t wait to actually go.
