We headed for the driving range after work yesterday for the first time of the season. Kim has a golf outing with work at Torrey Pines next week and wanted to get in a little practice before then. Always up for more practice, I decided to go along. I have to say that golf could be the most frustrating thing in the world. My first couple shots were pretty bad, as expected, but eventually I hit a great ball. So what happens next? I shank the next one. And the one after that. You get the idea. I think one in four of my hits was good, while the others were terrible. If only I could come up with some sort of consistency, I would be much happier. Even if it meant I was consistently crappy, at least I know what to expect.
