Our DVR has been acting up recently. Late last week, when I first noticed the problems, it would frequently pause for a few seconds when watching a recorded show. The frequency of this problem seems to be increasing, and I’m starting to lose out on some of my favorite shows. Before it gets any worse, I am going to take the defective box into Comcast and exchange it for a new one. I wonder if they have new and improved versions available, or if I’ll just get a new one that is identical to what we already have. Has anyone else had any problems?

    I’m glad everyone else has a perfectly functioning DVR. :|

    Anyway, I took in a Motorola 3412 and got a 3416 in return. The difference is that the old had a 120 gig drive and the new has a 160 gig drive!

    late on this as we were out of town, but we’ve gone through probably 5 HD-DVRs in our 2.5 years here with TWC

    If only they had an easy way to transfer recordings from one to the other, then it wouldn’t be such a big deal.
