Tonight Kim and I are heading to the holy land, also known as the Great American Beer Festival. We attended this party, I mean event, a couple of years ago, and I must say that it is a must see. There will be 408 breweries on the tasting floor with 1884 different beers available. I have done my research and have put together a plan to hit 43 of these breweries. I figure somewhere around 50 will be the magic number, so I still have some room for suggestions. Here’s the list of participating breweries. Cheers!

Wow, now that sounds even better than a Chiefs/Bengals game in the rain. I would definitely hit Rogue Ales but that’s probably on your list already anyway.

Yep, Rogue is already on the list. In an attempt to miss the crowds, I might head out their way first since they are among the farthest out. Others out that way: Full Sail, Pelican, Widmer Bros, Sierra Nevada, and Stone.

I’m disappointed that Little Yeoman’s (way-small brewery in the Ozarks) isn’t there, I thought they told me they went to that festival but that’s been a few years. Widmer Bros… mmmmmmm. Mmmmmmm, beer. Man that sounds like nirvana, I am jealous.

I’m disappointed that there are no Cincy breweries. I thought for sure BarrelHouse would be there. Another big surprise is that Magic Hat will not be there.

Left Hand is also on my list, and I’ll try to swing by Elevator as it’s near a handful of others on my list like Free State, Goose Island, and Great Lakes. Thanks for the tips Shane!
