Well the long home buying process is finally over. After signing a bunch of paperwork, we now have the key to the house! We are officially homeowners.
Once the closing was complete we headed over to McCoy’s for a few celebratory pints. Phil and Doni met up with us for dinner there and then we all drove over to the house. Doni took some pictures that I’ve added to the site. We checked everything out once again and gave our first tour.
Now the real fun begins. This weekend is the official cleaning, packing, and moving weekend. Can’t you just feel the excitement?!?!
cute pictures Doni!!! Ed you still look a little nervous in picture no. 7 ;) or is it that grass cutting that you were thinking about?
I was afraid of that champagne bottle. The popping sound a few seconds later about scared the crap out of me!
Scared of a champagne bottle? Shouldn’t overcoming that fear be one of the necessary hurdles to accomplish before buying a house?
Congrats man!
PS- I was goign thru my wallet the other day and found Kim’s business card in it, four months later. I have no idea why I have it. Maybe I was supposed to email her something?
I don’t know. That’s my random story of the day. Not quite as exciting as buying a house.
Thanks Claire, I was trying to do you proud. At one point Ed even said “cool it Claire” which made me feel good!
Ed, one of the pictures is missing. What is up with that?
I didn’t put them all up Doni, just the best of the best. :)
Thanks everyone! I’ve been without a computer since yesterday morning and I’m finally getting through my email and am starting to fulfill my internet crave. Hopefully I’ll get back on my regular computer schedule starting at work tomorrow…
