This question was posted on OARfans.com yesterday, when the author had someone ask her, “What’s the revolution? Are they supporting a cause or something?” If you didn’t know (and I assume that most of you do) O.A.R. stands for ….of a revolution. When I read the thread again this morning I stumbled on this response:

the revolution is…
– their music
– their views on taping/trading
– their fans (loyalty)
– their endless touring
– their rankings in the music “industry” (how they don’t get any recognition on TV or the radio, yet they still managed to sell out MSG
– the fact that they stay loyal to their music roots (to some extent)
– the differences that set them apart from any other bands
– this website and oarsa
– ed paff

Viva La Revolution! :)

    version 2, was created in florida and released in alabama. there were several important upgrades a long the way, in particular the cincinnati service pack. after years of near flawless operation, a temporary patch, labeled kansas city, was introduced and is still going strong…
