We had our final game of volleyball last night, and once again I’m waiting for the results to be posted. The team that was in first (one game ahead of us) was in the middle of their match when we arrived. We saw them lose one game, and I think they won the other two. Obviously we realized that if we won all three games, then we would be tied with them for 1st place. Although a couple of the games were close, we actually wound up winning all three or our games last night.

I’m now wondering if the delay in the results is because they are trying to figure out how to break the 1st place tie. There are two other teams that could join this tie, if they won all three of their own games last night.

We better get a t-shirt!

With this session now complete, I am announcing my retirement from volleyball, at least for now. Time to conquer something else…

Have you given any consideration to competitive lawn mowing, or perhaps aerobic dog walking?

Are you having one of these lawn mowing competitions at your place? Who’s my competition?

I might have a slight advantage with my knowledge gained while working at the golf course during high school. They even let me cut the fairways and that was a high up as you could go!
