Our stupid rabbit has decided that the tile floor in the kitchen tastes good. Or at least that is how it appears, because he has tore up multiple tiles and chewed them up, which has forced us to keep him in his cage for now while we aren’t around. I’m not sure what we can do with him. He chews on EVERYTHING, even though we buy him these wood blocks and everything to chew on. He still hasn’t figured out the litter box either, so maybe we should just leave him in the cage. He is in there today while Kim and I are both at work, so we’ll have to figure something out tonight…

We also have to figure out how to fix the tile in the kitchen now. Hopefully there are a few random tiles in the basement that we can use to fix it up. How frustrating…

My pictures from the weekend finally made it up on the site, but those of you who probably read this blog daily have probably already noticed. Sorry about the quality of Chip’s soccer game pics. I’m still learning how to use my camera and have been taking advantage of any opportunities to take pictures.

I almost went and saw Pomeroy last night, but Kim and I decided to rest up instead. I know that I was exhausted, and we have a big weekend coming up that actually starts tomorrow night at the show in Lawrence. I did get my rocks into my fish tank, although I have already decided that I want to move them around. I’ll get some pictures of it up on the site soon.

We are going to dinner with Doni & Phil tonight. It’s their treat to us for taking care of their cats while they were in Hawaii!

I’m here at work way too late, talk to you all later…

What the heck happened to the bearcats? I couldn’t watch the game last night because it was only on local Cincinnati TV. My game “watching” consisted of reading the score every couple minutes as it was scrolled at the bottom of the screen. I can’t believe that with the start that they had, the lost to UAB. That’s pretty awful.

I got the rocks for my fish tank, and I should have time tonight to clean them up and get them into the tank. I’m making progress, just really slow. :)

It’s almost time to go to Cincy!

I forgot to say that we are watching Doni & Phil’s 2 cats while they are in Hawaii. They have been training them to use the toilet, just as in Meet The Parents. One of them supposedly does it all there, but the other cat refuses to poop in the tank, so we have to go pick up after it. Barf! :) It sounds like they are having a blast there though, so that’s good…

Kim is leaving me this weekend. She’s working in Cincy next week, so she’s gonna meet up with her family a little early in North Carolina. I’m trying to decide what to do this Saturday night, so if you have any ideas let me know. Next week I’ll take full advantage of my extra time by trying to finish up Ed Hearn’s site and work on oarsa.org v2.0, which we have recently started to work on very hard. I hope to get it out in the next couple of months!

Hopefully you noticed a few more pictures that I added to the site. I hope to get more and more up there for you all!!

The drive home was slow and even included pushing a few stuck cars. Fun!

I put the sand into my tank tonight and already had to “fix” the filter once. I’m going to have to find a way to prevent the sand from getting in the filter. Now I just need to find some holey rock to buy. I’m trying ebay, but it costs so much to ship these heavy rocks. I’ll take some pictures soon…

It’s like a blizzard here today. The weathermen must have just been off by a few days. :b I think we are supposed to get up to 6 inches of snow today, which should make the drive home fun…

My boss is out sick today, so I’m not really busy at all. The two guys that I need to talk to about a bug aren’t in yet either. I wonder if they are taking the day off as well.

Last night Kim and I cleaned out my fish tank in preparation to set it up again…

So the Crosstown Shootout is tonight! It kind of snuck up on me, but I’m definitely excited for it. We should be able to defeat XU pretty easily this year, if we play the game we are capable of. If we don’t , then it could be a pretty interesting game. I think Kim and I are just going to watch it at home, and try to get some other stuff done at the same time.

I know that I still want to clean out my empty fish tank and get ready to fill it again. I’ve decided that I’m going to go after some shell dwelling cichlids from Lake Tanganyika. Here is a pic of one of these fish with a few babies as well…

Now I just have to start laying down the sand that I’m going to use on the bottom. I’m also trying to buy some rocks like the Texas Holey Rock. I think I’ll end up buying it on eBay, since it is very hard to find. This stuff looks great though and is very functional…

We could be facing the most snow KC has seen in years this weekend.

According to weather.com:
… WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING TO MONDAY AFTERNOON…
PRELIMINARY DATA INDICATES THAT AS MUCH AS 10 INCHES OF SNOW MAY FALL BEFORE THIS SYSTEM MOVES EAST MONDAY AFTERNOON. CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WILL ALSO ACCOMPANY THE STORM SUNDAY INTO MONDAY… MAKING FOR EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TRAVEL ACROSS MUCH OF THE REGION….

Should be interesting…

Tonight we are going to see Tanner Walle at a small club in a “bad part of town.” I hope we survive. :b
For tomorrow I want to work on my fish tank, which would require going to all kinds of pet stores in the area. I think that could easily kill an entire day.
Sunday, if the weather isn’t bad, we are gonna watch the Super Bowl at a guy I work with’s house. He has a 100 inch tv!!

I’ll let you know how the blizzard is, and hopefully I’ll take some new pictures!

I now have the photo gallery working here on the site, so be ready to see all the pictures that I’m taking. I just need to find something worth shooting now. :) As of now, there are only a few pictues of my new car, feel free to check those out though!

ALL of my fish died from some disease that I couldn’t cure. I guess I learned a lesson once again, don’t buy fish at PetSmart, only supplies. The only good thing about it, I can now start over and get fish that I couldn’t have possibly kept before. I’ve already been brainstorming, and I’m sure I’ll keep you updated with what I come up, along with pictures of my progress too! I wonder if I can still afford to do this with the budget that Kim started though. :b
