Something that I am now very excited about was announced earlier today, though I had heard rumors of it for months now. The Mile High Music Festival will take place July 19th & 20th at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park outside of Denver. It was originally rumored to take place in City Park, which I would have much rather preferred just for convenience, but I’m still excited nonetheless. I just hope that they work out some sort of transportation to the event to/from downtown.

Take a look at this lineup and you’ll be sure to quickly realize that this is right up my alley:

I wanna go! That might have to be when we drive out for a few days. Can you get us tickets too? Actually 4 extra tickets???? The Martins will probably be coming that trip too.

I’ll warn you that weekend tickets are $150 each. Sounds like Amy is coming out, and I’m sure some of my O.A.R. friends will make the trip as well. The more the merrier I always say!

  3. Doni says:

Woa, I will check with Phil and the Martins but that really isn’t bad for all the bands. I am sure Kelly paid at least that much just to see the stupid Eagles at Verizon. I will let you know for sure next week.

Definitely not a bad price for the amount of music there. Tickets officially go onsale the 29th, and I’m going to try to go to a box office somewhere to avoid paying fees. So let me know before then if you want tickets.
