On this latest trip, we enjoyed some restaurants that we have enjoyed in the past, but also tried some new ones. The top new one we tried for me is the Noble Twist Taphouse. They feature house-made craft beer and New Haven-style pizza, two of my favorite things!
Le Bron (The Goat)
The Le Bron (The Goat) pizza was excellent! This combines house dough with garlic confit, tomato jam, mozzarella, pickled red onion, chevre cream, arugula, and lemon oil ($30 for a 16-inch). The crust is outstanding, and the combination of toppings was really great. Plus it pairs perfectly with a glass of IPA or two.
