Today is March 11th, 3.11! What a cool day!

The show was a good time last night. I won a free CD that I already have a copy of, but oh well. It’s a Train CD, anyone want it???
Blue October was a lot harder than I expected, but I enjoyed their poppier songs. Pomeroy was awesome, although I didn’t get to tape. Hopefully next time it will all work out…

I think tonight we are just gonna take it easy. I’ve been wanting to watch School Of Rock, so maybe we’ll do that. Kim has a test tomorrow for some insurance thing. I probably should know more, but I don’t. She has been studying like crazy for this thing though. I’m sure she will do fine! I may just have to play on my computer all night, and maybe clean up the place a little bit. We’ll see…

While kim was gone I got a few things done for the pending second release of oarsa.org, but Jay is really the one that is kicking ass on developing the site. I’ll see if I can get a screenshot or two up for you all to see sometime in the near future. We hope to have some beta testers start hitting the site in the next couple weeks. As all of that is going on, we still have a ton of data to input into the database, so it will keep us busy enough.

Releated to this, I’ve also decided that it is time for me to learn some php and sql. I’m gonna use it to do some simple things on this site and probably to help with doing some work for others like Ed Hearn…

Tonight is the Pomeroy show that I’ve been waiting to go to. It will be my second time seeing them, this time is a much larger venue, the Beaumont Club. I hope that I’ll be able to tape, but Beaumont has always been such a pain to me. Plus the other band playing, Blue October, is very anti-taping. I’ve been spending some time on their board telling the fans the benefits of taping. I still think some don’t get it, but oh well. It’s tough work, but someone has to do it. :)

The weekend wasn’t too exciting, Kim and I were both inexplicably tired all weekend. Kim and Doni did take off for St. Louis yesterday afternoon and they will be there the next couple days doing business. That left Phil, Todd and I to watch basketball and drink. :) We ended up watching the sopranos episode last night. I have never seen the show before, but it wasn’t that bad. The hour it was on went by quick, so I guess it had my attention. Maybe I’ll start renting the last 5 or 6 seasons, however many there have been…

Hopefully I have a hockey game tonight. Last week our game was cancelled for no reason…
I need some exercise. :)

CNN.com – Gates: Buy stamps to send e-mail – Mar. 5, 2004

Very interesting article. I don’t think that it should be done yet, with the methods they are suggesting, but I do think they are onto something…

The weather is getting nicer, and you know what that means…
More running. I took the last few months off. :b Actually my IT Band started hurting so bad that I didn’t want anything to do with running. Kim has convinced me to start back up, but with lots of stretching this time. We ran a little over a mile yesterday without much problem, but while stretching it was very noticable that my left leg is much tighter than my right. Hopefully I can get over this “syndrome” though and start running some more races. :)

Our stupid rabbit has decided that the tile floor in the kitchen tastes good. Or at least that is how it appears, because he has tore up multiple tiles and chewed them up, which has forced us to keep him in his cage for now while we aren’t around. I’m not sure what we can do with him. He chews on EVERYTHING, even though we buy him these wood blocks and everything to chew on. He still hasn’t figured out the litter box either, so maybe we should just leave him in the cage. He is in there today while Kim and I are both at work, so we’ll have to figure something out tonight…

We also have to figure out how to fix the tile in the kitchen now. Hopefully there are a few random tiles in the basement that we can use to fix it up. How frustrating…

The O.A.R. show was a great time as always. The crowd was kind of annoying and quite large, but that is to be expected. Guster didn’t too much for me once again. I’m convinced these guys should tour with Pat McGee, and they should call it the Boring Tour or something like that. :b Besides the percussion guy, they lack energy and the often missing bass lines are very much missed. Not the worst I’ve seen, but not the best. I was pretty busy during Toothpick’s set, so I really don’t have an opinion on him. Kim said he was pretty bad though. Hopefully next time around it will be a headlining show…

We didn’t do much else this weekend. It was relaxing…

Last night was a great time at the Matt Nathanson and Tanner Walle show! I recorded it and also have some excellent pictures. I finally figured out a few features on the camera and it paid off! I’ll get those up soon…

Tomorrow is the O.A.R. show that I’ve been waiting for. It should be a hell of a time!

Oh yeah, the credit union has the wrong VIN number on all of their paperwork. I think I just got a free car. :b

I finally saw another Mazda 3 out on the roads today. It was a light silver color, so I liked mine much better!!

I just noticed today that my temp plate is 3 days expired, so I probably should put my real plate on today. That means that the car is a month old. Somehow I already have 2,500 miles on it, haha. I know how to rack up the miles. I think the car is ready for a few stickers.

I think I’m gonna put this DMB sticker on the car, unless you see a better one at the online store
