My Aunt Stefanie had her baby! A little girl named Elizabeth Ann. She is the first Busch cousin in quite some time!

Kim and I have planned some trips. We are going back to Cincinnati for Labor Day and to see the fireworks and everything. Then the weekend after that we are going to Chicago to party with all of my O.A.R. friends and see a show! Later in Sept. we are going to Denver to visit her friend Josh and to go to a beer tasting festival. That should be really cool and fun. I’ve never been to Denver or anywhere in the west before, besides California…

We are also going home again sometime in October and going to a wedding for a friend of hers. There is always stuff to do!

I’ve actually had a little luck with my job searching. I may get a temp position with H&R Block staring Sept. 8th and going through January or February, with another position becomming available at that time as well. It sounds like something that will be alright to do for awhile. It’s a job in quality assurance, so I would be testing software and web forms. Easy enough. :) Wish me luck for that. I need to find something to do…

So yeah, my cousin Lauren was in the hospital here in KC with a case of mono and strep. Kim and I visited her one night while she was here, and Lauren gave me shit for not writing about it. So there ya go. :)

O.A.R. show tonight, with 311. Two of my favorite bands sharing the stage. It should be a great time, as long as we have enough money for beer. :)

I get to go back to Cincinnati tomorrow. My bags are already packed, I’m ready to go back for a weekend. Pig-Fest is really shaping up to be a great one. The weather looks great, and everyone is calling about it. They seem very excited and so am I!!!

I might go to a G Love show tomorrow night with Sarnovsky, the old roomies, and whomever else wants to go. That should be a good time, if it happens…

Well, still no job for me. I’m really pushing everything here, but it still isn’t helping. It may be time to start looking at temp agencies.

Liam and Bobbi came to visit this weekend. We went to an OAR show, and had a blast as always. One thing I know after this weekend, I’m not a big fan of Steak and Shake.

Pig-Fest is this weekend!! I’m really excited for that. The drive might suck, but it will be worth it when we get home! Everyone better show up!

Saw Finding Nemo tonight. Good little movie and quite funny.

We found a bar that has REAL darts here. It’s called the Flea Market, and it actually has a small flea market inside of it. Pretty interesting place, but it was good to play darts!

Things are still going well, and the apartment is looking really nice. My pets are all fine, and I even picked up some guppies. Hopefully I can have some babies sometime, and if I get too many, I guess they will become turtle food. :)

I found a place to play hockey, but that won’t start until September, so I may need to find something else to do. Which reminds me, I have gone running with Kim twice now. The last time we ran 2 1/4 miles. It was too much for me.

I also have a severe ear infection, but I went to an urgent care place and it is getting better.

Well this week I’m really gonna start trying to find a job. Once I run out of things to do around here, I’ll be getting very bored…

Blogger has been messed up so my entries were not showing up. Kansas City is going great. It’s hot, but has cooled down this week. I really enjoy being around Kim all the time. I still have not found anything but cover bands here, but maybe sometime soon. Looks like my cousin Lauren is coming out here for softball next week and my mom might come along. Then Kim’s sister Bobbi and her friend Molly and Liam are coming out the next weekend. Then it will be time to go back to cincy for Pig-Fest. I have a job interview setup for tomorrow, and it is looking really good. I met one of the VP’s of the company at a bar that one of the ladies Kim works with goes to all the time. I’ll have to let you know how that goes.

The apartment is great and in a perfect location. We have been cleaning it up and organizing for awhile, and of course buying lots of things for it.

A little slacking once again, but you really can’t complain. I’ve been busy doing pretty much nothing and it has been wonderful. For those of you who don’t know, I will be moving to Kansas City on the 18th. Kim is leaving today to go there and start work. I am really really excited about this move and I’m sure it will be a blast. As of now, I will be keeping my same cell phone number, so you better keep in touch!

Deer Creek. Isn’t it always the best time! In fact all the DMB shows were great. I recommend seeing one show of this tour if you can!
Fighty’s birthday bash was excellent, we even had some of the OAR board folk come down for it and almost got kicked out of Murphy’s. There is a first…

So I am completely done with school forever! I finished up yesterday, when I turned in my last homework assignment. It still hasn’t really set in, but I enjoy not having the work to do. I guess maybe it would seem more real if I had a job lined up. Oh well, I’ll have to keep on trying.

Tickets for Mraz sold out, so that really sucks. I shouldn’t have put it off for so long, but hopefully I can find a way to get everyone in to the show. The guys who are going to Bonaroo are coming in. I haven’t seen Weeba in a long long time, so that should be a great time. Not to mention everyone else that is coming in. Party at 223 Bosley!

This weekend is going to be nuts. Hopefully Mraz tomorrow along with getting ready for Kim’s party. Then graduation and Kim’s party on Friday. Engineering graduation on Saturday, maybe some boat trip with Kim, maybe a party thrown by my advisor, etc. Sunday is my graduation party at home. It should be a fun one!

Things with Kim are excellent. Next week she will be in Kansas City looking for a place to live. This will give us a little taste of what it is going to feel like. I think it will be fine.

School is almost over. This is getting pretty scary. I guess I really have 3 more days left. Tomorrow we have senior project demo day, where we get judged on our projects. I have a Psych test Thursday, should be easy enough. Friday, I have a database quiz. I like the term quiz and not final, so hopefully that will be easy. I think our Prof for that class is trying to take it easy, she is also our senior year advisor. Then I have like 3 or 4 programs due next week. That will be the worst part of all. It is for my pass/fail class, so I just hope I can pass the damn class.

I guess I’ll be working at ITI until mid June and then from there, I don’t have a clue. I keep sending my resume out, and sending out replies to people, but I rarely hear back on anything. I got one job that I might be able to get, but it pays in the mid 20’s. That is awful. So not much has changed in the job search.

We are trying to finalize a day for this years Pig-Fest, which is the 10th annual. Either August 9th or 16th. On the 9th OAR is playing riverbend with 311, but I will be seeing the same show a week or two before. I’m thinking I could skip this one if need be. On the 16th Fate Hates Us already has a show, so playing at the party wouldn’t work out. That is the one problem, and it all comes down to me. :)

That is really about all that has been happening. Lots of partying for the end of the year, which I’m sure will only increase once we really do graduate. Too much fun!

Pulled an all nighter last night. Our senior project was due today and we had serious work to do with that. Not too much fun, but it is about over now. My hockey game was postponed for tonight, which really sucks because I wanted to go to the bar tonight, but at 10:15 game might ruin that. The crazy thing is, I only have about a week left of school, for the rest of my life! Man, what a great feeling. I better go do homework though. It’s been pretty boring lately…

Inteviews are so much fun. Haha. It actually went fine, but what is up with the fact that I only get calls back from consulting type places. Weird. I guess I’ll have to wait until mid next week to see if anything is available for me.

I have an early copy of OAR’s new cd, and it is sweet. Everyone needs to make sure you go out and buy it next Tuesday. You will not be disappointed. They are gonna be on Conan, Letterman, and MTV. Good things are gonna start happening…

I’m hungry, time to find food!
