I have to finish the basement first. I don't think the DialIdol software would work without a phone line, at least according to their requirements it won't. I've never voted either and I can't see myself ever doing it. I just enjoy reality TV, I guess. The <a href="http://www.dialidol.com/asp/predictions/Predictions.asp" rel="nofollow">predictions on DialIdol</a> were pretty close to being right. We've got the HD DVR because of the new TV we got last year. Amazing. and we have the same 8300 as Ed sr. and no, it's not functional yet. you have to get an HD PC card and run one of your cable connections through that and then either burn it, watch it on the PC or s-video it over. that dialidol software is interesting. we've never actually called in for anyone, but i wonder if it works with cable where you don't have a phone line or modem? the guys are in trouble because there's many more talented girls. we can watch the 2 hour show in an 1 hour 10-15. hahah, welcome to the dvr world. we’ve had ours since we moved here in April of ‘05.
